The
American Team
The Broce's
We are Glenn & Marjorie Broce. We have 5 children, Jake, Erika,
Nick and Krister (ages 7-15).
We are planning to
move to Kenya in the Summer of 2008.
Glenn & Marjorie
both graduated from Charis Bible College of Andrew Womack Ministries
in May of 2005. Glenn also continued the following year completing
an apprenticeship (intense internship) with Linus LeFever who was
the director of the school for 13 years.
Glenn has a Bachelor's
of Science in Computer Science Information Systems from Austin Peay
State University in Tennessee. He also has an Associate of Science
degree in Video Productions from Grossmont College in California.
Marjorie has a Bachelor's
of Arts in Speech Communication and a Teacher's Credential in K-12
from Point Loma Nazarene University in California.
Glenn has been to
21 countries through vacation, the military and missions trips on
three different continents. He has spent 9 months on short-term
mission trips ranging in length from 3 days to two months, and has
led several of those trips with groups up to 45 people. He has been
with YWAM, OM, Azusa-Pacific University, Medical Missions, Charis
Bible College, Pure As Gold Ministries and Spearhead Missions. Glenn
and his family has also lived in Europe for 3 years while he was
in the military.
Marjorie has been
to 17 different countries as a military spouse, on vacation and
on mission trips.
The
Kenyan Team
Sabastian and
Ruth Okwero
The Okwero's currently live in a small town of Nambale in the District
of Busia, Kenya, which is on the Kenyan side of the Ugandan/Kenyan
border. They have 7 girls.
Sabastian oversees ten churches in
the Kisumu, Busia area in Kenya and also nearby in Uganda. Sabastian
is head of Rhema Mission (not associated with Rhema Ministries in
the USA).
Ruth is the pastor of a church in
which is a three-hour bicycle ride, one-way 917 kilometers).
Pure As Gold Ministries
was formed in the state of Colorado, USA, as a non profit corporation
in July of 2006, and received its 501(c)3 status from the Internal
Revenue Service August 2007. All contributions are tax-deductible
in accordance with applicable federal laws.
